In the final sermon of our Advent series, Paule Patterson explains why the birth of Christ should remind us to love, and what that love should look like.
Advent Reading – Zechariah 2:10-13, John 1:9-14
- God loves you...and “them.”
- When we are more concerned with being right than being loving, the Church begins to fail.
- We have to stay on God’s mission, not our own. God’s Kingdom is so much grander than what we often are offended by.
- Advent is meant to heal division and incite love, and you cannot love well unless you are in community.
